Filmmaker, magician, theater owner, and Duncan Yo-Yo champ Donn Davison reissued his 1971 backwoods extravaganza Honey Britches under numerous titles over the years, including this one. In 1986, director Fred Olen Ray (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers) filmed and inserted wraparound scenes with a fading John Carradine and peddled it to Troma as Demented Death Farm Massacre. Davison's original, as written by his then-wife Barbara, featured George Ellis (aka Atlanta-based television host "Bestoink Dooley"), Jim (Pet Sematary II) Peck, and peppy Pepper Thurston from wacko The Hidan of Maukbeiangjow. Contrary to IMDB and elsewhere, star Ashley Brooke is not porn performer Ashley Brooks.

Fifties' "bad girl" icon Jan Sterling (Caged) is the name talent in noted photographer Raymond Jacobs' 1969 soft porn tale of industrial espionage. Also with Robert Rodan (Adam from television's "Dark Shadows") and Phillip Faversham (Bright Victory) as Sterling's predatory husband. Director Jacobs had previously co-produced and co-written Anton Holden's memorable Aroused (1966), but abandoned filmmaking to seek his fortune marketing the Earth Shoe. The film's soundtrack LP ("not terrible, but not great" says one reviewer) includes "Squeeze Play" by Top 40 band The Cyrkle ("Red Rubber Ball").
Comely and talented Jennifer Welles is Vickie, the traumatized, sugar-sucking girlfriend of rapist/murderer Barry (Gary Judin) in Allen Savage's sicko sadomasochism saga from '69. The esteemed editor Kemper Peacock of ABC Sports was tasked with assembling Savage's disparate dispatches of depravity, resulting in a pocked patchwork of perversion that defies literal interpretation. Welles also appeared in Savage's follow-up and sole other feature A Weekend With Strangers (1971) with David Gale of Re-Animator. With candy sex, lit candle sex, and Sheila Britt (Murder In Mississippi).
This 1967 mondo feature, crafted from Nakagawa Nobuo's horrific 1963 documentary This Is Japan (aka Cruel Tales Of Japan) depicting the actual torture and killing of monkeys, sea lions, a bear, and other animals, was purchased by Sam Arkoff for his Trans American offshoot, given an English-language narration by film producer Burt Topper (Wild In The Streets) and Terry Vantell (wife of Jack The Flesh Eaters Curtis), and dumped into U.S. fleapits and drive-ins to near-universal condemnation. It was pulled, the objectionable animal sequences removed, and then briefly reissued before sinking into the A.I.P. vaults to never resurface but for a censored trailer which can be seen on YouTube. Not to be confused with Donald Cammell and Nicholas Roeg's Performance (1970), known in Italy as Sadismo.
Lee Phillips (Daddy-O) stars as a Korean War vet suspected of the gruesome murders of an artists' model and a young student at an exclusive New England school for girls in director Richard (I, Marquis de Sade) Hilliard's 1963 proto-slasher, re-released in a pared-down version as Psycho Mania. Also with Shepperd Strudwick (The Reckless Moment), James Farentino (Dead & Buried), television's Dick Van Patten (The Strongest Man In The World), Sylvia Midnight Cowboy Miles, Betty Walker from Who Is Harry Kellerman And Why Is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me?, Jean Hale from David Durston's unreleased Felicia (1964), and producer Del Tenney's spouse Margot Hartman (Curse Of The Living Corpse).
Sexploitation director Barry Mahon's wife Clelle scripted his 1964 nudie trifle about a successful Broadway producer and part-time naturist (assistant director Sande N. Johnsen) who discovers that his leading lady (Nadja Swensen of The Sexperts: Touched By Temptation) is baring it all at the very nudist camp he's attending. The resident "nudists" will be familiar to attentive exploitation fans: Darlene Bennett (A Taste Of Flesh) and her pal Gigi Bad Girls Go To Hell Darlene, Christy Foushee (Scum Of The Earth), Maria Stinger from Diary Of A Nudist, and pin-up photographer Bunny Yeager (Lady In Cement). Featuring knuckle-headed narration and topless scuba scenery but no one-legged man in a Speedo.
Prolific character actor Patrick Wright (Track Of The Moonbeast) and his real-life partner Tallie Tanya Cochrane star in this 1970 credits-free obscurity from New York's Chancellor Films. Wright is a sadomasochistic syndicate hitman who is ultimately lured into a trap set by victim's sister Plushette (Cochrane). Both Wright and Cochrane had appeared with cult movie fave Edward D. Wood, Jr. in the now-lost, Wood-scripted Operation Redlight (1969) and in numerous film and television projects.
Pin-up king Irving Klaw's 1956 burlesque compilation offered up classy striptease routines - all but one in bracing black and white - from such leading performers of the day as Tempest Storm (French Peep Show), Blaze "Miss Spontaneous Combustion" Starr (Blaze Starr Goes Nudist), drama queen Lili St. Cyr (Son Of Sinbad), Dorian Judy's Little No-No Dennis, Patti Paget (The Love Merchant), and six others along with burly-que comedy routines from pantaloons Joe Young and Gene Doyle.
Terrific Tura Satana (Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!) leads a commie spy ring eager to get their mitts on the plans of a whacked-out scientist (John Carradine) for creating remote-controlled cyborgs, ostensibly to serve as risk-free astronauts. Meanwhile, government agency chief Wendell Corey (The Big Knife) is investigating so-called "mutilation murders." Could there be a connection? Ted V. Mikels' 1968 sci-fi cheapie co-stars Tom Pace (Blood Orgy Of The She-Devils), Joan Dixon from The Angry Red Planet, and once-famous socialite Jean Pirie in her only film role. Highlights include a remote laboratory equipped with a de rigueur "master switch" and a notable scene involving a flashlight put to clever use by the late Rob Wilmoth from Love Camp 7.
Carl Anthony (Plan Nine From Outer Space) and Jean Fontaine are pornographers aided by degenerate delinquent Dino Fantini, who rapes and kills their models in this seamier 1960 update to the "sin and salvation" roadshow movies from a bygone era. Former western star Kenne Duncan (The Astounding She-Monster) and Duke Moore from Night Of The Ghouls are police detectives on the trail of the sanguinary smut sellers and their heinous henchman. Also with Buster Keaton's brother Harry and Conrad Brooks from Glen Or Glenda. Writer/director Edward D. Wood, Jr. would later pick up Carl and Jean's mantle with Nympho Cycler, Necromania and more hardcore poundcake.
