Homestead, Florida's Coral Castle impersonates moon architecture in Doris Let Me Die A Woman Wishman and Raymond Phelan's 1961 "nudists in outer space" saga. A millionaire astronaut and his advice-averse advisor fund their own mission to Earth's moon and discover upon landing that it resembles a Florida naturist colony. With Shelby Livingston from Two Thousand Maniacs! (1964), Lacey Kelly (1961's Common Law Wife), and nudists sporting shiny space shorts. The bizarro Coral Castle still stands and can now be visited as a Southern Florida tourist attraction, but you'd better keep your clothes on. Prior to his partnership with Wishman, co-director Phelan had filmed portions of Bert Stern's Jazz On A Summer's Day (1959).
