Wisconsin filmmaker Bill Rebane (The Giant Spider Invasion) was unable to finish his first feature Terror At Halfday, a 1965 black and white sci-fi cheapie starring "World's Tallest Man" Henry Hite as a pasty-faced alien. Enter "Godfather of Gore" Herschell Gordon Lewis, who bought Rebane's footage and "finished" the film in his inimitable way to round out a bill with his own Moonshine Mountain (1964). Phil Morton, who appears as Col. Steve Conners, is not the gag writer for Saturday Night Live as claimed by imdb.com, but Monster A Go-Go was, sadly, the final film of Hollywood star June Travis (Mr. Doodle Kicks Off).
