Film editor Edward Rollercoaster Biery's single directorial effort, the 1964 nudie cutie The Peeping Phantom, relocates Gaston Leroux's vengeful ghoul to the striptease milieu. It's told via flashback in a cut-rate courtroom setting, where a bevy of strippers in turn identify the notorious Peeping Phantom as their voyeur. Also released as How To Succeed With Girls, it features Paul Leder of I Dismember Mama infamy, Playboy Playmate Marissa Mathes (Blood Bath), future porn director Ted Roter (Norma), South Florida's Dolores Carlos (Bunny Yeager's Nude Camera), Cathy Crowfoot from Mermaids of Tiburon, and future star of television's Golden Girls Rue McClanahan. Co-writer Bill Norton later co-wrote Cisco Pike with Robert Towne. Alas, only a trailer survives.
