That Guy Dick Miller (2014)

Financed by a Kickstarter campaign, Elijah Drenner's feature-length documentary about cult movie actor Dick Miller grew from a bonus short made by Drenner for a European DVD release of Roger Corman's 1958 War of the Satellites, a sci-fi parable with Miller in a rare starring role.  That the scrappy character actor serves as a beguiling subject for a documentary will come as no surprise to his legions of fans, several dozen of whom provide testimony in Drenner's affectionate tribute to Miller's sixty-year (and counting) career in motion pictures.
